AMO Kraft AB is specialized on complete products for safe energy transportation. Our product’s voltage range are from 10kV to 145 kV. We have our own accessories/fittings such as arc protection devices, preformed ties and tension kits etc. We can therefore offer our customers a complete covered conductor system.
Covered conductors have been built in Sweden since the nineteen eighties. In 1995 AMO Kraft AB developed a new construction, based on experience made in Australia. That same year we introduced BLX-AMO a product with improved water blocking, semi conductive layer for 24kV. Water blocking made by the compound made it possible to tension the conductor without removing the covering. In 1998 we launched the recyclable AMO BLL; based on Hendrix type without XLPE with a LDPE layer in middle and outer made of UV resistant HDPE. In Year 2001 we presented our BLX/BLL for 52kV with excellent test result. Out latest product is the ALUS-D (double isolated) which is a 1kV touchable ABC (Arial Bundle Cable) cable.
